At 16:30 on 30th July, MCC Huatian successfully completed the hot load commissioning of the 600,000-ton high-quality high-speed wire project at Beiying Company of Benxi Steel Group under its EPC contract, achieving an hourly output of 136.5 tons and a tolerance of 0.1mm for the finished product dimensions, showcasing MCC Huatian's technical prowess and high-quality contract fulfillment capabilities as a leading member of the "National Team in Metallurgical Construction."
According to sources, Beiying Company of Benxi Steel Group is the largest wire production base in Northeast China, with an existing annual capacity of 2.6 million tons of high-speed wire. This project represents a key initiative for the company's product optimization and upgrade, as well as a core technology upgrading project under its "14th Five-Year Plan." It involves the construction of a new production line with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons of high-speed wire, adopting internationally advanced design, production processes, and equipment, complemented by advanced technologies such as secondary and intelligent systems and unmanned cranes, to focus on the production of high-end, special, and high-quality steel wire products. Upon completion, the project will significantly enhance Beiying's product mix, facilitate its green and intelligent transformation, and upgrade its special steel products, ultimately contributing to the creation of a green and intelligent steel enterprise as well as a premium wire production base in northern China.
